Cold Kitchen Chef/Cook with Some Baking Experience – Viggbyholms Stationskafé

Viggbyholms Stationskafé is a beloved craft café and bistro in the heart of Norrort. We take pride in cooking and baking, creating a warm and homely environment for our guests.

We are now looking for an independent cold kitchen chef/cook who can also assist with simple baking – but who primarily wants to cook, serve, and manage the kitchen operations.

About the position

This is a broad and practical role where you:

• Start at 07:00 every workday
• 
  
• Prepare cold and hot dishes according to our menus
• 
  
• Serve guests, keep the café tidy, and provide a warm welcome
• 
  
• Wash dishes and maintain the kitchen & service in good condition
• 
  
• Drive deliveries and pick up goods from our central kitchen (Class B driver's license is required)
• 
  
• Perform simple baking – about 20% of the working time
• 
  
• Work independently but be part of a small, helpful team

Working hours are during the day, and weekend work is included.

The position can be full-time or part-time as agreed.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a cold kitchen chef or cook
• 
  
• Enjoys working broadly – from cooking and serving to dishwashing and deliveries
• 
  
• Has a Class B driver's license
• 
  
• Thrives on taking responsibility, working independently, and solving problems
• 
  
• Is meticulous, service-oriented, and works well in a smaller team with a family atmosphere
